I first visited Deep Creek Lake as a kid on a Boy Scout trip and immediately fell in love with the area. After graduating from Towson University, I moved to Garrett County full time in January 2000. At the time, I thought I might stay for only a few months. It was a great winter for snowboarding at Wisp Resort, however, and it did not take long for me to realize that Deep Creek Lake was where I wanted to build my life.

Today, my wife, Noelle, and I are fortunate to live at Deep Creek Lake and raise our two daughters here. Our family spends as much time as possible enjoying the lake, boating, wakesurfing, skiing, snowboarding, and taking advantage of everything Western Maryland has to offer. I may not have been born in Garrett County, but Deep Creek Lake will always be home.
