The holidays are usually a joyous time, filled with family, food, and good times. While this time of year has a different meaning to every person, almost everyone can agree that the holidays have a sense of togetherness that spreads from just family, to friends, and even to strangers.
Each year, Railey Realty participates in the local Rotary Club’s toy drive, providing gifts to less fortunate families and their children. Our office alone donates more than 50 gifts a year, and we’re just one group out of several supporting this great cause. The Rotary Club helps provide toys and gifts for more than 400 families.
Giving back to our community is such an important part of our holiday season, and this is one project that all our agents and staff look forward to every year.
The Oakland Rotary Club is a non-profit organization focused around community support. Possibly most famous for their insanely delicious french fries, this club extends far beyond our favorite fair food. The money they raise helps maintain their beautiful park in Oakland, their scholarship funds for local high school seniors, and allows them to donate dictionaries to all third grade students in Garrett County. The Christmas Tree Project is well known among our community, and it's something we look forward to supporting each year.
