Railey Realty owner/sales agent Jon Bell will appear in an upcoming episode of Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation this May! The show is a spinoff of the very popular Lakefront Bargain Hunt, which Jon has also appeared on. We’re not only thrilled for Jon to be showcased on the show, but it’s also an incredible spotlight for Deep Creek Lake. To have our beautiful corner of the earth shared on national television is a really neat experience, and hopefully some of the viewers will be able to come explore Deep Creek for themselves!
The episode is named ‘Getting Down in Deep Creek, Maryland,’ and is episode 5 in the new season, airing Saturday, May 6, at 10 PM est on HGTV.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show, Lakefront Bargain Hunt follows homebuyers seeking lakefront property under $375,000. The buyers and their agent look at multiple homes before ultimately choosing their perfect fit. For the Renovation spinoff, the buyers are looking for a lakefront home that needs a little TLC, and the show follows the entire process from start to finish.
Featured in this episode along with Jon Bell is local Win Stewart, who handled the complete renovation. Jon’s clients, Donnie & Julie Wagner, are from Pittsburgh, PA and have vacationed at Deep Creek Lake for several years before deciding to purchase.
It probably doesn’t come as a shock that lakefront living on Deep Creek Lake can be as luxurious and expensive as you’d like. Shows like Lakefront Bargain Hunt Renovation prove that there can be a lot of potential in older or outdated homes. If the lot and location are right, sometimes it’s just a matter of having the vision to take that home to the next level. Plus, it lets you add your own touches to make your lake house perfect.
Tune in on May 6 to catch 'Getting Down in Deep Creek, Maryland' on HGTV and let us know what you think!
