Railey Realty Welcomes Ruth Seib | Deep Creek Lake News

Railey Realty is happy to welcome Ruth Seib to our incredible team of real estate agents! Ruth is one of the most experienced agents in Garrett County, at one point serving as a broker! We're looking forward to her contributions to Railey Realty and are happy to have her join us! Read all about her below.

I discovered Garrett County as a teenager, vacationing here with my parents.  After graduating from college, I looked for a way to live permanently in this beautiful part of the country.  I managed our family’s marina on Deep Creek Lake for 10 years, and eventually followed my father into the real estate business, ultimately becoming the broker for the company, before selling to my business partner.  Along the way, in addition to renting boats to vacationers, I’ve cleaned, managed, and owned vacation rental properties, bought land, built homes (both with my own hands and subcontracted), served on numerous committees for the local and state Realtor Associations, and participated in Garrett County economic development study groups.  Professionally, I’ve worked with buyers, sellers, developers, and rental property owners. Through these experiences, I’ve been a tourist, a resident, a participant in local policymaking, and of course a Realtor® and this helps me to know and appreciate Garrett County from many perspectives.

I joined Railey Realty in 2018, and am glad that I’ll finally have the opportunity to work closely with my daughter-in-law, Jessica Seib, and her father, Rich Orr, and brother, Nick Fratz-Orr.  With such a solid and accomplished support system, I’m confident that among us we can help with any real estate need you may have.
