Many local children, seniors, and others in need will be greatly impacted by the sudden changes COVID-19 has brought about. Garrett County Community Action Committe, Inc.
Provides meals and essential services to those in need. The County Emergency Management Office has asked Community Action to take a lead role for Garrett County in coordination donations.

Garrett County Public Schools
Providing three meals a day to students across Garrett County. Only about half of the cost of these meals will be reimbursed by the state & federal governments. Donations can be made through the Dr. Wendell Teets Foundation, make sure to indicate on the form that you'd like the donation to go towards the COVID-19 pandemic and feeding students.
