We were so excited to get an invite to the soft opening for Deep Creek’s newest bar and restaurant – Firewater Kitchen & Bar! Built right on the shores of Deep Creek Lake just below Ace’s Run Restaurant & Will O' The Wisp, this new hot spot is the latest culinary creation from Brenda McDonnell. Construction began on the bar in early spring and continued throughout the summer.
The building was designed by Doug Stork of DCL Design Studio and construction was completed by RPM Construction. Brenda took her time with every details, making sure that the bar, dining areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and outdoor areas were crafted with quality and care. During the summer months, Firewater will offer expansive outdoor dining overlooking Deep Creek Lake!
The drink menu features signature cocktails crafted with in-house infused juices and mixes. For dining, enjoy unique combinations featuring local-produced vegetables and meats and seasonal specialties. Just like at Ace’s Run, the menu will be updated a few times throughout the year to showcase new creations and new local options.
