Wisp Resort is open for the 2020/21 Ski Season! Wisp was happy to open their slopes Friday
December 11 at 9 AM for their first runs of the season. Snowmaking operations were in full force
the last week following our 10” of natural snowfall that kicked off December. The resort opened
with most of their front-side slopes open for skiers, including Squirrel Cage, Wisp Trail, Bear
Paw, Grouse Way, Central Park Terrain Park, and Sunset Boulevard. Snowtubing will also be
opening this weekend!
Of course, as weather permits, Wisp Resort will continue making snow when the weather allows.
Early models show Deep Creek getting more snow at the beginning of next week, too! Wisp
Resort is encouraging all mountain goers to place their orders online prior to arrival, as ticket
sales at the window may be limited due to health and safety regulations.
We hit the slopes the enjoyed the awesome conditions! It was a bright, blue day with temps up in
the 50s, creating soft and smooth conditions – perfect for our first ride of the season. You can
check-in on live conditions at Wisp Resort with our webcams!
