Wisp Resort has officially opened for their 2022/2023 Season!! The resort opened Friday November 25, 2022 - making it the first Thanksgiving weekend opening since 2013. The cool weather for most of November provided perfect conditions for snowmaking, with a few inches of natural snow adding to the mix. The snowmaking team was able to open Squirrel Cage, Grouse, Bear Paw, Wisp Trail, and the magic carpet beginner area in the Yurt Village. We were able to hit the slopes on opening day and were so impressed with the base and conditions! Temperatures were on the warmer side, but it made for nice soft snow and easy conditions.
