As a native West Virginian, Garrett was born with the spirit of the mountains in his blood. Hailing from Morgantown, WV, he graduated from University High and continued his education at Fairmont State University. From a family of hardworking entrepreneurs, Garrett grew up helping his parents with their Cheat Lake based business, The Sportsman Refuge. His love for the outdoors, recreation, and archery all started there. At a young age, Garrett found his calling and passion in archery. At the young age of 17, his professional archery career started, and he’s claimed multiple national and world titles since his start in the sport. His archery career has taken him all across the United States, Canada, and even in Europe.
Garrett’s love for hunting and the outdoors led him to an appreciation and passion for land management. For 6 years, he worked in Illinois guiding whitetail hunts at Holy Pursuit Outfitters, guiding whitetail hunts and expeditions. Ultimately, though, the mountain state called him home. Now settled back in Morgantown with his wife and young son, Garrett has found a new way to share the outdoors and magic of West Virginia with others through real estate. As an avid hunter with land management focus, Garrett has the skill and knowledge to help showcase a property for a seller or find the perfect fit for a buyer.
