Combining a lifelong love of West Virginia with decades of experience in the timber industry, Mike Fincham knows the value of real estate. With deep family roots in West Virginia, Mike holds great pride in the state and has an overarching appreciation for the beauty and tranquility found throughout. Starting in the wood/timber/lumber industry in 1997, Mike later went on to create his own hardwood company, Mountaineer Logs & Lumber, in 2014. In the past decade, the company has grown from a timber & lumber trading firm to a logging, timber, and land purchasing firm specializing in timber evaluation, timber removal and land capitalization. In addition to MLL, Mike is a partner in Mountain Kiln Dry, a sawmill operating in Belington, WV, that specializes in purchasing timber and logs and manufacturing lumber from these purchases for distribution in the hardwood industry.
Having nearly 30 years of experience in the timber industry, as well as being a lifelong outdoorsman, Mike has a keen sense for evaluating potential in land and understanding viability for any endeavor. If you want a knowledgeable and veteran recreation and land expert in your corner, Mike is your guy.
In his free time, you can find Mike enjoying the wild and wonderful aspects of West Virginia, including hunting and fishing. He’s passed on his love for the outdoors to his two children, Preslee and Parker. Mike is currently happily engaged to his wonderful fiance Kayla..
