Under new management, the Thousand Acres Golf Club is working on expanding their incredible 9-hole course to a full 18-hole championship golf course!
The first 9 holes, completed in 2009, offer beautiful lake and mountain views on the quiet, southern end of Deep Creek Lake.The second 9 holes will bring the same attention to detail and beautiful scenery. Construction on the remaining holes is well underway and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this summer and open for players next spring. Thousand Acres Golf Club was developed and built by the Franklin family to be a Deep Creek escape, and the construction of the back 9 holes will finally bring this dream to completion! This expansion is a wonderful benefit to the Deep Creek Lake area, especially for the Thousand Acres and Sky Valley communities.
Thousand Acres Golf Club is currently accepting new members, with member benefits including member-only playing times, advanced tee-time booking, a full calendar of events and outings, and an opportunity to play the new holes in advance of the general public.
