Railey Realty is proud to announce that two team members – agent & co-owner Russell Bounds and Media & Marketing Director Kristin Skeweris – have achieved their Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), designation and completed the full 135-hour curriculum. The full course spans 4 months, offering 4 or 6 classes per level, with 100, 200, 300, and 400 series offered. While REALTORs can earn their GRI designation after completing the first 72 hours in 100 and 200 series, Russell and Kristin furthered their education through the 300 and 400 series. Each class features 6 hours of instruction followed by an exam, which requires a passing grade to receive credit for the class.
Kristin and Russell join other Railey Realty GRI designees Larry Smith, Debra Savage, Bill Weissgerber, Ruth Seib, Kevin Liller, and Susan Bell.
Why Earn the Designation?
New technology, laws, procedures and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers require real estate practitioners to perform with a higher level of professionalism than ever. The coursework required to earn the GRI designation will give you the tools and knowledge you need to provide your clients superior services. In addition, in a recent NAR Member Survey, those with a designation earned an average of 49% more that those without any designation. (Maryland Realtors Website)
